Bright Streaks II
The bright streaks appeared again in my right visual field. I noted this before on 7/24 of this year. An occasion I don't directly remember, and the time before that that I do sort of remember.
It's now 3:03 PM and the streaks have just gone a minute ago. It started about 15 minutes ago when I was hand washing some jeans and miscellaneous clothes in some very cold tap water. My theory is that a capillary in the retina goes into spasm and somehow that causes the bright streak to appear in the visual field. Maybe the stress on my system of having my hands in ice cold water was what triggered the spasm in another area. My immediate treatment for the condition just now was to take a couple of shots of sherry, being the strongest libation on hand. Anyway it has stopped for now.
Today is Monday. I slept in until almost 1:30 having stayed up way late until the early morning. Two days ago I installed FreeNAS on one of my computers. Then I changed the setting that had to do with polling other devices and after that I couldn't bring up the webgui anymore. So now I'm going to reinstall it and not mess with that particular setting again. I'm pretty thrilled with FreeNAS and I have barely scratched the surface with it.
